An important Sevres art nouveau vase by Henri Joseph Lasserre in pâte-sur-pâte technique, where multiple layers of porcelain and glaze create relief in the form of rose leaves. The leaves reach the bottom of the vase from three sides. The vase was manufactured in 1914 and decorated by Henri Joseph Lasserre in 1915. The vase is of exceptionally high quality and can undoubtedly be considered one of the greatest examples of Sevres porcelain during the art nouveau period.

Henry Joseph Lasserre (1870 – 1932) was a famous artist that worked at Sèvres Manufacture Nationale de France. His works were published in numerous publications dedicated to Sevres porcelain and his works are also exhibited in numerous museums all over the world.
