Important Taxile Doat Studio Sevres porcelain vase or pitcher / Jug plaque with extraordinary glaze decoration. Partially glazed, depicting three portraits in a cameo. Marked to the bottom TDOAT 1927, Sevres. There is a professional restoration to the handle and it is not visible and there is a small manufacturing crack on the foot. Otherwise, excellent condition.
Most likely this piece was purchased at the Salon des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1931, where Taxile Doat was awarded with a “plaquette d’honneur”.
Size: 14 cm diameter and 11cm high.
