An exceptional Royal Copenhagen topographical plate depicting Scotland Landscape Lock Lomond and Ben Lomond with beautiful gold gilding and floral decoration. There is a monogram of LT de B. Most probably this plate was a diplomatic gift to strengthen the relationship between Denmark and Scotland. Due to the exceptionally high quality of the painting, there is no doubt that it was manufactured at the Royal Copenhagen porcelain factory.

The plate is titled, signed E.B. and dated 1871.

Condition: 1st quality, there is a restoration to the rim with an overpainted gold area and minor flaw on the rim (see photographs 8-10). Otherwise, it is in excellent condition
